One foot X one foot X one second One foot X one foot X one second is a mapping of time. A one second video fragment of a train journey is decomposed into a depth of 30 frames. Different elements such as a bench, a light post, the roof of a distant house and a train station sign are isolated in order to understand their position in space. The number of frames in which they appear is an index of their distance relative to the train. The light of the camera focus, visible for 7 frames (a quarter of a second) shows the position of the observer.
